Lexus LS 460: Good Car, Good Sounds

By Joseph Niemann

This year would be the time when the automobile world and the rest of the market would come to know the 2007 Lexus LS-460. This vehicle would soon be rolling out of its manufacturing and assembly plants and would be later on shipped to the auto market of North America for sale. Now this new one would hold more technology features compared to all the other vehicles that are offered at present. This is according to the Telematics Research Group (TRG).One of the major features that the 2007 Lexus LS-460 has to offer is the factory-installed 30GB hard drive disk that could be used not only for music but for navigation as well. Although the 2007 Lexus LS-460 is not the only one to offer a hard disk with a great amount of space, it is important to note that the Mercedes Benz S-Class (the other vehicle that offers such a feature) is only able to use such a feature for navigation purposes.

Aside from the 30GB hard drive, the 2007 Lexus LS-460 also has cameras. These cameras are actually installed for the purposes of lane departure warning as well as park assist. This vehicle holds three cameras and these would lend out an eye during parking. These would also help out in warning the driver when the 2007 Lexus LS-460 veers out of the lane.

The current generation Ford Focus made its debut in 2008 to the European market, but only found its way to America in 2011. That follows Ford's decision in 2008 to invoke its "One Ford" policy whereby the company builds many of its models for all of its markets. The previous generation Ford Focus featured a distinctly American version as well as a European inspired global version. The former model failed to live up to the latter, but at least its sales were respectable.Ford's plans for the Focus ST should rest a number of rumors about its performance side, at least for now. Thought that a hyped up Fiesta model would surface can now be dismissed -- that vehicle would be too close to the Focus ST, causing much in-fighting among Ford products. That also means Ford isn't likely to purse a coupe version of its popular Fusion midsize sedan. Honda and Nissan continue to sell sedan and coupes in this segment, but Toyota has since abandoned the Camry Solara, choosing to focus on sedan and crossover versions instead.

The focus being the basic transportation that it was designed for is not a performance car or luxury car but rather a lightweight economy car. This being said the tires on the focus need not be performance or luxury tires so that means that if you are looking to put expensive tires on your car then you are wasting your money. In fact by installing anything more than a standard all season tire on a Focus you will not gain a thing. Don't be fooled into doing this as the focus does not require it.

The Kia Optima (Magentis) raced in several amateur rally events (2003-2004) and, although it never claimed a victory, proved to be a close competitor to the rally machines in its class. From its sparing use of chrome to its plain Jane wheels, the Optima is deeply, wildly inoffensive. Measured against the '07 Accord EX V6, the Optima LX comes up short in acceleration, mileage and toys. But the Kia Optima is a nice car for the price. The Kia Optima is priced below competing models and typically represent a good value when taking into consideration their high feature content. Four years down the road a used Optima will be a steal compared to a used Camry or Accord. With that said, your eyes will have no problem telling the difference between the LX and higher-priced merchandise. The vehicle's "Expected" cost of ownership is based on statistical models that correlate the price of a vehicle with cost of ownership within each of the 34 segments that comprise all vehicles.

The 2012 Ford Focus appeals to a large demographic due to its versatility. Younger drivers can opt for the sport suspension package for improved handling and performance. Older drivers may choose to invest in the SFE package for better mileage. This car would be perfect for a college student, professional or just about anyone who wants a compact and affordable auto with a sporty edge. The 2012 Focus is now available for $18,300.
