Stain Removal Tips

It's common on Cape Cod clients to connect our company searching for tips on how to remove stains in the most varied places, carpet, wall, wood floor, ceiling, clothing, sofa, glass, etc. Often our clients find to be impracticable to eliminate stains, but many of them likely to be removed.

Some are harder to leave, and as incredible as it seems many of these stains can be removed by using products we have in our homes, such as candles, iron, vinegar, soap etc... Instead of dealing with a major reform, the simple act of connecting and contacting a house cleaning company on Cape Cod will help you avoid the headaches of a reform.

Most of the techniques to remove stains need physical exertion, in which case you should want extra help. You will find also spots that may be removed easily by following the directions below you can get rid of those unwanted stains.

This is a list of suggestions and solutions for you:

- Liquor stains on carpets, add a little vinegar with warm water and wipe the spot.
- Coffee stains on the carpet, use a combination of boiling water with lemon or ammonia.
- Oil stains in clothing, put soap on the stain and let dry then wash normally, if does not get out totally, pass the iron over an absorbent paper.
- Grease stains, oil on linen, totally cover the blemish with talcum powder or flour for a while, when the stain is absorbed, brush the place well.
- Rust stains on clothes, wet the stain with lemon juice then cover with salt to put them in the sun a while and then wash normally.
To get rid of stains flies leave tissue, use a mixture of water with hydrogen peroxide.
- Sweat stains on clothing; place the piece to immerse in warm water with a little vinegar.
- Spots "green" (grass marks) in the clothing, put lemon juice on the stain, rub, make it dry and put the washing normally.
- Lipstick - Scrape the spot with a knife. Then damp a clean cloth with alcohol or dry cleaning solvent and rub the stain.
- To take away bubblegum from a piece of clothing, put it in a bag and place in freezer for few hours and then remove clothing from the bubblegum when it is frozen, then scrub with soap and then wash normally.
Or put acetone on sugarless gum until it dissolves then remove with a clean cloth.(Attention to the fiber)
- Dirty oven trays - Clean quickly with a cloth or a piece of paper, and if the dirty is already dry, warm up the board.
Never use abrasives to avoid scratching the finish of the board.
- Cookware smelling - To get the strong smell that was in the pot where you cooked the fish in the pot boil water with tea leaves already used.
- Ending the smell of fried - Add a sprig of parsley as soon as the oil begins to heat up.
- To clean artificial flowers, put them in a plastic bag with salt and shake hard. After must normally be washed.
- To eliminate fleas at home or in our domestic animals; put mint leaves in the contaminated sites.
- To eliminate the smell of tobacco, put a dish with water and vinegar.
- To get rid of the garlic smell from hands, rub sugar or coffee grounds and then wash.
- Smell of cod in the hands - To get rid of the smell of cod hand rub drops of vinegar or lemon. Then move your hands in warm water.
